Safe@Neighborhoods provides community associations, homeowner associations, and property management groups with informational systems by way of our community specific technology and mobile app. Our goal is to work with HOAs to help protect the investments of the community members, property values, and residents’ personal safety. How is the Mobile App Different?
Unlike communication platforms that are dependent on subscriber participation in social media, our mobile app uses the property management group as the system administrator for subscribers. Members of the community are issued an invitation based on the individual property address within the defined community. Management groups can maintain and control multiple community groups within the Safe@Neighborhoods data management system. Unlike other popular online community watch programs, subscribers are only enabled access based on their specific residential location.
-A family can notify their designated ‘friends’ group they will be out of town and request property monitoring, package/mail pick up, etc.
-A resident could notify the entire community of a missing pet.
-Security personnel can notify the community of a suspicious person reported nearby.
-Property management groups could send out a community wide notification regarding authorized construction or maintenance groups along with identification credentials or logos visible on their vehicles and/or uniforms.
The functions of the Safe@Neighborhoods app are designed with safety in mind but provide the versatility to help your residents feel connected to the entire community.
Data Analysis
Incident reports initiated by community residents are housed in our customized Safe@Neighborhoods cloud-based data warehouse. Through these reports, HOA boards can utilize both quantitative and qualitative data to make informed decisions regarding security contracts, safety systems, community protocols, and security equipment purchases.
Here are just a few of the analytics provided by our Safe@Neighborhoods data management system and how you, as the HOA representative, might use pertinent data for the benefit of your community:
-Analyze incident locations to detect patterns in frequency and potential vulnerabilities within the community
-Analyze recurrence of incident types to inform purchases of additional security equipment such as cameras and intercom systems
-Track response times of on-duty security personnel as they respond to critical safety incidents from the time of notification to arrival on scene

Since safety is at the core of our mission, we avail our former and current law enforcement agents to our clients for feedback and guidance. Our Safe@Neighborhoods staff is comprised of former and current agents from the United States Secret Service, Michigan State Amber Alert Coordinators, Michigan State Police Officers, FBI Task Force Agents, Detroit Sex Crimes Investigators, and North Carolina SWAT. Our combined experience of over 100 years in law enforcement can be an asset to your HOA and security contractors in providing advice, which can better inform your community’s safety and security practices.
